How your grade is determined:
The grades in each category will be averaged. Then, the average will be multiplied by the percentage in decimal form (.5, .3, or .2). The sum of the points from each category will be your grade. Here is an example:
Tests/Projects Average = 80 80 x .5 = 40
Quiz Average = 90 90 x .3 = 27
Classwork/HW Average = 85 85 x .2 = 17
Your grade = 40+27+17 = 84/B
